Quiet in the back – you’re fuelling accident rates
Almost 25% of drivers who took part in a Confused.com survey have been distracted by back-seat drivers and consequently been involved in accidents. Apparently, partners are awful back-seat drivers as are parents who insist on offering helpful tips and people who drive for a living, e.g. bus drivers.
Distractions are, of course, the main driver behind many misfuels, where motorists at the fuel station pump petrol in diesel car, thereby misfuelling. The potential for a misfuel can be eliminated by fitting a Diesel Head Misfuelling Prevention Device that is designed and engineered to only allow a fuel nozzle of a diesel diameter to activate its aperture and access the diesel tank.
