UK car makers in export drive

2012 is the first year since 1976 that Britain has exported more cars than it imported. The first quarter of this year saw 401,412 cars made and in the region of 80% of that production was earmarked for export. This success is fuelled by the efforts of the OEMs, their dealer networks (overseas) and the supply chain. Well done to all parties, keep up the good work.
