The misfuelling prevention device

Welcome to our City, the parking’s fine

Traffic Wardens or Civil Enforcement Officers (CEOs) have been busy. They have been so successful with penalties that we can only hope the England football team will be similarly on target during Euro 2012 should it come down to penalties. Motorists are parting with enough cash for fuel – petrol and diesel- and other motoring-associated costs so you would hope that they could park in line with the regulations and so not be expected to pay fines. Some may have been distracted and so not noticed that they had infringed the rules, in the same way as distractions can lead drivers to misfuel – pump petrol in diesel vehicles – when at the fuel station. A number of the penalties were successfully contested, which may fuel more attempts to overturn tickets.
